Lyrical poetry in 4/4, 8/8, and 3/4 time signature.

Monogamy Songs is 2 sides (a and b) of lyrical poetry at its best. Each poem can be viewed as an album track, with so many lines that resonate as highly quotable and printable on a t-shirt:
Track 1 - "There's no reason to care about the weather when there are roofs."
Track 2 - "What is so magical about a marker?"
Track 3 - "When I am not writing poems, I am breaking backs."
Track 4 - "This book is a sing-along poem."
Track 5 - "I hope I am so late to work the world is already ending."
Track 6 - "I have done so many studies on the economics of my heart someone should give me a lab coat."
Track 7 - "I don't know why balloons exist, except to make children cry when they drop the string."
Track 8 - "In my heart I am busy packing a picnic I won't have time to eat."

Poetry Memoir Book of the Year

Monogamy Songs is the kind of book that you lose sleep over because you can't put it down at 2AM. It is the kind of book that you read during your only 10 minute break at work. The book has the courage to not succumb to any genre. Is it a memoir? Is it poetry? Is it fiction? It doesn't matter. What really matters is the beauty of the images. The beauty in the dance between poetry and pop culture. The beauty of telling a story so genuine and heart wrenching that you just can't put it down. It is impossible to give just one memorable quote from the book. The entire book is a memorable quote. The book is so good I called my ex girlfriend from high school and told her to buy it right away. So good it can overcome anything including awkward exes!!
